Snowing in October?!

We were busy getting ready to see Martha Wainwright at the Roundhouse last night when we had a little peak outside to see if we'd need to take a coat & look what we saw! It had snowed! Martha was fab & the support act, Angus & Julia Stone were great too. Her voice reminds me a lot of Hope Sandoval from Mazzy Star. Was a bit chilly on the way home though.

A Trip to Beckenham

We had a lovely afternoon visiting a friend, eating homemade soup & walking in the park. Got a great view of Battersea Power Station from the train too.

Socktober

Making a real effort to get through all that sock yarn now.

How to Lure Me into a Pub

Yes, with billboards like these the Dartmouth Arms will be seeing me very soon.

A Tourist in My Own City

We visit the National Gallery on Friday afternoon. London is full of great things to do for freen if you only put ypur mind to it. On the way out I take these snaps of Trafalgar Square. I never get bored of Trafalgar Square. Don't worry, Nelson's Column isn't really leaning. It's just my wonky photography.

Chaiwalla

We find out about a cafe in Hampstead that serves masala chai. They even serve it Indian style in the little disposable clay pots that you get at Indian railway stations. We can't resist the nostalgia trip & get some exercise by walking up there. Yummy samosas too!
