I went to the last of my 12 weeks Lindy Hop foundation course last night. It was actually a little bit emotional as it's been so much fun to see the same group of people every week & so great to watch everyone improve. Our teachers Caron & Steve are the sweetest, sweetest people & even gave us a mini graduation ceremony at the end of the class. Caron mysteriously disappeared for a while then came back with all our certificates freshly made up. We rounded off the class with the Bunny Hop, a 1950s party dance. Haven't giggled so much in ages. If you live in London & fancy giving Lindy Hop a try I definitely recommend their course. No-one will look after you better.

Yep, I'm all on for the social dancing now. I'm having a little holiday this week & next though so will have to practice on the beach... or maybe in the water a la Dirty Dancing: )
