Went to a new Lindy Hop class this week where we learned a different style of the dance known as the West Coast, Hollywood or Dean Collins style. Up until now I've been learning the original Harlem Lindy Hop. The Hollywood footwork is a bit different from the East Coast moves. Not sure which I like best yet. Here are some 'You Tube' clips of the Dean Collins style. First there is a clip from 'The Powers Girl' with Benny Goodman, Jewel McGowan & Dean Collins hmself.
